8 Tips to Deep Clean Your Kitchen Quickly



Have you ever walked into a friend's kitchen, surprised after looking at clean surfaces, and wondered what the secret is behind this? There is no doubt that everybody wants to have a clean and hygienic kitchen, but it is difficult to get some time to keep it show-room. 

If you are one of them, then read the following tips to clean your kitchen and keep it shining always. 

1. Cabinet Cleaning

Take out everything from the kitchen cabinets and organize them. Keep a dustbin with you and discard all unwanted items. Now take a battery backpack hepa vacuum cleaner and effectively clean the cabinets of your kitchen. 

To clean the corners and edges, take a toothpick and wrap a small cloth over it. Now use this end to clean all the corners and edges. Now, start placing all the necessary items in a well-organized manner. 

2. Refrigerator Cleaning

Take out everything from your refrigerator and start grouping them on the kitchen floor. Keep a dustbin with you and throw away all expired and unwanted food stuff such as pickle jar that has been untouched for many years. 

Now, take out all removable parts from the refrigerator and wash them effectively. Also, scrub clean wheels and grooves with a toothbrush and clean the corner behind the refrigerator with a backpack vacuum cleaner. 

Take a bowl and add a small amount of baking soda, and pour some water in it. Use this solution to wipe down the walls.  Finally, put back all the stuff back inside the refrigerator.

3. Kitchen Countertop Cleaning

Take a bowl and add lukewarm water and mild dish soap. After that, take a sponge and dip it inside this bowl and use it for cleaning your countertops. You can also use a disinfectant solution made up of diluted hydrogen peroxide. Fill this solution in a spray bottle and use it to clean the countertops. 

But make sure to use the disinfecting solution as per the material used on the countertop. Some acidic solutions may damage the luster and shine of your kitchen countertop.

4. Microwave Cleaning

Are you fed up with cleaning tough and messy spills inside the microwave? If so, then don't worry because we have a trick that will help you easily clean your microwave. Take a coffee cup and fill it with water and also add a small slice of lemon. 

Put this glass inside the microwave and turn it in for 30 seconds. But do not open the door of the microwave and let the steam loosen the tough mess. Bring this cup outside after 10 minutes and easily wipe away the grime.

5. Sink Cleaning

Fill your sink with hot soapy water and also add one cup of bleach. Leave it for at least one hour and then empty the sink. Now, scrub it thoroughly. Now, finally rinse it with the clean water.  

Never leave the small chunk of food items inside your sink. Take two minutes extra to dump out the food waste. Also, make sure to effectively wipe out your sink every time after washing your dishes.

6. The Pantry

Start removing all the items from the kitchen shelf. Now start removing spoiled or stale food items. Take out infested food items and also remove the stuff that does not belong to your pantry. Clean the shelves with a backpack vacuum and then take a damp cloth to wipe away dust, dirt, and debris. 

Clean all the container before placing them back. If any jar or container is leaky, then consider replacing it with a new one. Finally, return all items and properly organize them.

7. Kitchen Floor Cleaning

First of all, clear the accumulated dirt and dust with a backpack HEPA vacuum with battery. If you do not have one, then you can also sweep the floor with the broom to have a dust free home.  You should pay more attention to recessed areas like space under your stove. Final mop the floor with a cleaning solution made up of hot water and vinegar. 

In this solution, vinegar will act as a disinfecting ingredient and odor remover, as well.  When floor drying, vinegar scent will start dissipating. In the end, you will have a shiny and odorless kitchen floor.

8. Be Multitasking

If you have some free time, then do not waste it. Make your productive! Let's take an example, consider that you are waiting for water to boil. During this time, you can start cleaning your countertop, start unloading your dishwasher or any other small kitchen task. 

Try this trick at least once, and you'll be amazed that you will complete your various kitchen tasks in no time.
